W Design Group is the in-house design firm for Wisenbaker Builder Services and is pleased to offer a range of specialized design services that support the selling and merchandising needs of today’s new home builder.
Interior Design Consultation
Progressive home builders recognize that the Design Team is an extension of their selling efforts—critical to customer satisfaction and essential to the bottom line. WDG designers provide guidance to new homebuyers on product selections for their new home through fully-equipped design center facilities in addition to educating buyers on the features and benefits of standard and upgrade product options.
Space Planning & Merchandising
The Design Team at WDG approaches space planning and merchandising projects with the following mindset: the space must be functional, enduring, impressive, and foster growth. They understand that building owners and the people who work there deserve an environment that is organized, calming and one that allows individuals to focus, regroup, and successfully run the business.
The W Design Group develops space and merchandising plans that combine three critical factors good design, functionality and sustainability.
From home comfort to office productivity, interior designers leave their mark on the way people live. It’s therefore important that designers receive and maintain a working knowledge of color and product trends, product features and benefits in addition to movements in fashion and style. The Design Team at WDG receives continuous product and design training from industry experts and other well-known design professionals.
The mission of WDG is to serve as an advocate for continuing education in the advancement of the interior design profession, and to inspire lifelong learning activities for interior design practitioners.
Product development at the W Design Group involves either improving an existing product or its presentation, or developing a new product to target a particular market segment or segments. The product development process begins with the gathering of actionable market intelligence that becomes the catalyst for suppliers to develop products that are either high-quality or low-cost; products that provide the consumer with speed or flexibility; or products that offer some other form of differentiation that positions them a desirable purchase.
The goal is to extend existing product lines to maximize their contribution throughout their lifecycle while concurrently introducing compelling new products that create new categories of growth.
The influence of the W Design Group extends to the greater interior design community and the building product industry as a whole. This influence is manifested through WDG’s active membership in industry-related trade associations and in its collaboration with key national product manufacturers. The group’s industry involvement includes leadership positions with international color forecast groups and participation on several product manufacturer steering committees.
The purpose of WDG’s involvement in various industry groups is to promote and advance the role of advocate for both the builder and the consumer.
